Questions about this tool

What does the similarity score mean?

It is the share of the text found in other sources. A properly quoted passage raises the score too, so always read the highlighted passages rather than the number alone.

Is my text stored or published?

Your text is used only to produce your report. How it is handled and how long it is kept are described in the privacy policy.

Can I check a long document?

Yes, within the length limit displayed on the tool. Longer documents can be checked in sections.
