Generated text is grammatically clean and oddly flat. The flatness comes from a handful of habits — even sentence length, generic transitions, hedged conclusions — that readers notice without naming them. Here is how to recognise and remove them.
Even rhythm
Models produce sentences of similar length and structure. Break the pattern: follow a long explanatory sentence with a short one. Ask a question. Let one sentence carry one idea.
Generic transitions and openers
"Furthermore", "it is important to note", "in today's fast-paced world": these phrases signal generated text immediately. Delete them or replace them with a concrete link between the two ideas.
Missing specifics
Human writing is full of particulars — a number, a name, a place, an example. Where a generated paragraph says "many users", say which users and how many. Specificity is the single biggest difference.
Hedging and balance
Generated conclusions tend to balance every statement with its opposite. Take a position. If the honest answer is "it depends", say on what.
Using the humanizer
The AI humanizer applies these changes automatically — rhythm, transitions, wording — while keeping the meaning. Read the result once: the specifics only you know still have to come from you.
Checklist
- Vary sentence length on purpose
- Cut the stock transitions
- Add one concrete detail per paragraph
- State a position in the conclusion
- Read it aloud: if you would not say it, rewrite it
A natural text is not a clever disguise; it is a text where a person made choices. Make the choices, and the mechanical feel disappears.
